I laid in bed last night wondering how it could be that we were at your house so recently and there Mike was. It's shocking not to see him again. I hope that things go well for you and if you need anything, let me know.

Cheryl, I am so sorry for your loss. We miss him so much at SIUE. Some days, he was the only thing that made me smile. He always came by to throw candy at my student workers or bring them donuts. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I didn't know Michael very well, but he always seemed very professional, yet fun-loving, and worked toward bringing out the best in his students here at SIUE. He will be missed by many and remembered fondly.

Cheryl, I'm so sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of Mike in our dance class...huffing and puffing, trying to keep up, and making every one laugh so hard they couldn't follow the routines. I'll remember him as a big gregarious guy with a huge heart and wonderful sense of humor, and who could make a mean pasta salad. My thoughts are with you.

Dear Cheryl, I was deeply saddened to hear of the loss of Michael. I cherish my memories of Canon Chausable and the life-filled gatherings we shared. The world is somehow a less interesting place now. My sympathy is with you, his mother and his siblings in this sorrowful time. Bless you.
