Dear Mr.&Mrs. Buckeridge and all the Buckeridge Family.
Thank you so much for raising such a wonderful Son/friend/human as Mike.
I could write a book about all the adventures and good times and memories that Mike and I and all our Libertyville friends had together!
All week long, working out on my farm with my Son Liam, we kept noticing bands of geese flying over-head. But they all had two or three missing at the point.
Then I heard about Mike's passing last night and I new it was a sign from him. It must be a lot better angle for him to shoot because he was bagging a lot of those birds!
My Prayers and loving hugs to the whole family. Mike was more than a friend, he was my brother.

My deepest sympathy to Sharon and Charlie who built Mike's foundation and instilled the kindness he shared with so many.
Thanks to Lynn and David, Kate and Johnny, and nephews Michael, Brian, Adam, Brendan for sharing "Uncle Buck" with our family.
To all who knew his endearing qualities that made him so much fun to be with (and share with others): His kindness, selflessness, enthusiasm, laugh, and love of life, will live on in our hearts. It was remarkable, let's spread it around!
To Bucky deerest, my closest friend, best man, and confidant, now that you have your wings, I don't expect you to fly with the formation, but I do expect you to save me a seat in the blind in the Great Marsh..... God speed!

Charlie and Sharon ~ Words cannot express my sorrow over the passing of your dear son, Mike. Please know that I am holding you and your family in my heart and in my prayers during this very difficult time. Just a couple of days ago, I attended the wake of the 56 year old son of my former neighbor, and last month the death of a long time friend's son who was in his 40's. Why? Why? Why? We will never know the answer in this life, but we do know that Jesus loved Mike, and Jesus loves and cares about you. Thankfully, we are all just passing through this earthly life, and will spend eternity in the presence of Jesus, where there will be no more tears and sorrow. Praying the peace, hope, strength, and love of our Lord Jesus Christ's arms around you.

I can't remember a time when I didn't know Mike. He has been a part of our UP lives since he was a kid and we all grew older and somewhat wiser together. I believe I speak for all of us in the UP when I say we will miss Buck. He never met a stranger and was a great friend to many.

Our hearts weep for the loss of one of our own ~ sending love and condolences from the UP to the Buckeridge family.

My thoughts and prayers are with Charlie and the Buckeridge family! I have known, and worked in the same industry with Mike for the last 10 years. We had many conversations relating to politics, where we drank from the same cup, and football, where we differed slightly on our allegiances (packers vs. bears) but it always remained positive and humorous!

I will miss you, Mike. Godspeed!

I am very saddened by this loss of a childhood grade school friend. I reconnected at a grade school reunion a few years back and enjoyed getting back in touch with Mike. So very sad. Prayers are uplifted for his family and friends. May he pass gently to his final resting place and find lots of outdoor recreation to enjoy there. Peace.

I am stunned. Mike and I dated in High School. I still have the wrestling medallion he gave me. Mike loved his family and friends. He loved the outdoors and had a wickedly funny sense of humor. I will miss you and all of your funny FB comments. You are gone way too soon, and no doubt you will be missed by me and many others.
