Michael Louis Mackey, 70, of Crowley, passed away on Sunday June 11, 2017. Services will be 10:00 am on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Edge Park United Methodist Church, 5616 Crowley Road, Fort Worth. Burial will be at 3:00 pm on Thursday at New Gordon Cemetery near Strawn, Texas. The family invites friends for a time of visitation on Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth.
Michael Louis Mackey was born February 16, 1947 in Strawn, Texas, the second of two sons born to Toy Earl Mackey and Shirley Louise Nevels Mackey. He was employed as a machinist at Lockheed Martin and loved to spend his time collecting cars, signs and antiques.
Michael married Louise Roberts in January of 1969. She preceded him in death on June 28, 1995 after 26 years of marriage.
Survivors include his children: Angela Brock and her husband Carl, Philp Mackey and his wife Joni, Travis Mackey and his wife Shannon, and Timothy Mackey and his wife Heather Glover, grandchildren: Andy Brock, Tiffany Bishop, Susan Brock, Nick Brock, Samantha Brock, Cindy Mackey, Brandon Mackey, Mason Mackey, Madison Mackey, Kelsey Mackey, Jordan Mackey, Elizabeth Mackey, Matthew Mackey and Venessia Mackey, Jacen Mackey, Gracie Shewmake, and Alexis Story, one great-grandchild, London Brock and one brother, Cecil Mackey.
