Michael Marue Gearen, 66, of Dequincy passed away September 13, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 7, 1951 in Dequincy, LA to Marue and Margaret Gearen. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. Michael loved the outdoors and his favorite passion was hunting all types of wildlife.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Marue and Margaret Gearen and by his son, Jerry Ray. Left behind to treasure his memory is his loving wife of 38 years, Carolyn Gearen; sons, Shane Fountain; daughter, Alaina Golden; brother, Marlon Gearen; sister, Sheila Perry; grandchildren, Colton Shane Fountain, Daegan Fountain, Leeanna Congdon, Kaylyn Fountain, Tobias Golden; great grandchildren, Reagan Congdon, Degan Fountain and Faith Fountain. Also, his heart that had 4 paws "Baby Girl".
Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. in Doyle Annex Cemetery in Starks, Louisiana. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Starks from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
