Michael Paul Sharpe, 63, of Liberty passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel; burial will follow in the Sharpe-Covington Cemetery in Liberty. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Loflin Funeral Home of Liberty.
He was the son of the late Carl Lynn and Addie Winstead Sharpe and was also preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Sharpe.
Surviving is his daughter, Christie Sharpe and her husband, Richard Gaddy; grandchildren, Richard Gaddy, Jr. (Alexis), Darien Gaddy, Kristina Gaddy, Kasey Gaddy, Spencer Gaddy; great-grandchildren, R.J. Gaddy, Laynie Gaddy and on the way, McKinley Skipworth; sister, Faye Covington, brothers, Ram Sharpe, Larry Sharpe, Jay Sharpe, Roy Sharpe, and Carl Sharpe; many nieces, nephews and loved ones.
