This afternoon, June 19, 2017, I learned of my friend Mike Weaver passing into the Hands of the Lord Jesus a few days ago. Mike and Linda are dear to me. My memories of them leading a home fellowship group; leading in prayer; checking on me after surgeries; coming to my home to lay hands on and pray for one of my little toy poodles who appeared to be dying (and the very weak and dying poodle reviving on the spot, by the way, as Mike and Linda prayed for her), and their warmth of hello's and how-are-you's at GT Austin ... all of these memories are swirling in my mind now. Oh, how sad I am at this news. I can 'hear' Mike's "Hello, Eve" and 'see' his great grin! Heavenly Father, I lift up Linda and all of their family to you in prayer, asking that they each experience Your perfect peace and love during this time of grief. May their friends' caring words and concerns provide a canopy over them as they walk through this journey with You, Jesus.

Linda, your loss is most certainly Heaven's Gain as well as eternal life for Mike. The life the two of you lived here on earth for Jesus surely showed many "the Way" as I remember the light that shown from the both of you! My prayers are with you, sorrow is real also, yet I REJOICE knowing your sweet "heart and soul mate" is waiting for you in Heaven, whole and healthy. Love in Jesus, your sister in our Lord, Pearl Lee.

Our beloved Mike. His gentle soul and loving nature will be missed, but we can rejoice knowing that he is with his mother and father and with our Lord, which he served so well.
