I wish to express my deepest sympathies to all of you. The short time I knew him will forever be remembered, and your words of encouragement and comfort in his time of need were completely selfless, and a beautiful sight to witness. Michael was a neighbor of ours. My husband and I go on walks in the neighborhood regularly and always stopped and talked to him when he was out in his yard or sitting on his favorite chair in the driveway. He came to all of our neighborhood gatherings, our most recent being two weeks before he died. He was a real treasure to us. We miss him very much. - Peg and David Monahan
