Gay,

Mike and I became friends on a job in Corpus Christi. I have had to work with different Company Men everyday while in the oilfield. Mike was one of those few individuals that I hold a lot of respect for and I was proud to call him a friend. He was the type of Man that stood up for what he believed in and didn't back down. Just that short time working with him made me a better person. You will remember even as a child, you had a mentor or teacher that you would never forget, Mike was one of those people we run across in life and never forget. I will miss his e-mails, and I regret not being able to make the trip to visit ya'll during the Bluebonnet season last spring. But I still have the pictures that he sent me last year and when we pass thru the Hill Country this year, his memory will make the view even more enjoyable. Our prayers are with you, God bless.
