After having Michael live here with me for more than a few months I can tell you that you couldn't ask for a more trusted friend. I still miss him and think of him often. They say someone will never truly leave your life as long as you remember them on a regular basis and he is one of those special people who fit that description in my life and will for as long as I live. Friends forever Michael.

This is to my friend Mile.
It is not often that I find someone I trust the first time I meet them. I have to say that you were truly an exception to most of the people I have ever met in my life.
I met you because of two of the closest friends I have in my life. I know that both Barb and Chris had known you almost all of their life and you were as much a brother to them as any family member ever could have been.
I met you and knew for some reason that I could trust you with anything in my life including my personal feelings. It isn't often that I am willing to tell my innermost feelings to anyone and you were there for me. I will forever miss being able to talk to you about my problems knowing that you could help.
You lived with me for over two years and I remember them as some of the better times in my life. I knew that not only were you a real friend but that I never had to worry about anyone taking advantage of anything that was a part of my life so long as you were there.
I will miss you for the rest of my life Mike. You will forever be a part of my life because I will never forget you. A true friend is one who can be trusted and you are one of the few who never broke any promise to me. You were a true man of honor and I thank you for being a part of my life and my friend.
I know there will come a time that I will be able to see you again on the other side of life. I will be looking for you my friend.
Goodbye my friend. It was truly a privilege to have you as a friend and a part of my life.

Michael, My Brother.
WOW what a ride !!! God knows that throughout the years, we weren’t always as close to each other as we could have been, then again, it's only God who knew how close we became during your final two months on Earth. Watching you come down to our house almost every night so that my husband could help you with those feeding tubes, was at times more than I could bare. So often I'd hide in my room crying, praying, and wishing and yes, sometimes, even laughing. It was so special watching you sit there with Mike O'Boyle, sometimes for hours on end. Neither one of you talking or saying a thing, just being in the company of another human being, going through the most difficult time in his life was all that needed to be known. I thank God for placing Mike O'Boyle in our lives and helping you and I get through this, he was a good friend to you Mike, wasn't he? You liked that little bit of Dr. Pepper he brought you in the hospital, huh?
That last time that Mike O and I took you to the hospital nearly took the breath right out of my mouth, man that was hard Bro. But we made it, so who cares if you were cussing out a few of the people in the hospital, we all made it :) That last week I spent visiting you in the hospital will be in my memories and that I will always, always cherish. Why did it have to take your dying, before you'd let me know how you really felt? Don't take me wrong, I'm not complaining, I wouldn't change our goodbyes for anything!!!Remember, me laying my head so softly on your chest, you so lovingly petting and stroking my hair? I think somehow we both knew we would not be seeing each other on this planet again. Sorry I wasn't with you right up to the end of your journey Mike, cause you know I would have. But, the truth is God had a plan and it was way, way better than mine! I'm so thankful for Mary Jo, Matt, Tom, and all your other family ,cousins and friends, they did an amazing job of caring for you....I also want to thank you from the bottom of my heart, for sharing all your tears, fears and dreams with me, they’ll stay with me throughout the remainder of my life. Thanks for sharing in our “unique" relationship and know that, NO MATTER WHAT...I LOVE YOU, BROTHER AND SISTER FOREVER. I know your with Mom and all our other loved ones, so when my time comes, be sure to remind Mom, that if she is not the first one I see when I get there, then I'll know, “I went to the wrong place” :) Hey, come see me sometime, you know I'm the DREAM WEAVER:)

I had a dream last night...i was walking through the halls of my childhood school. and there were children playing and laughing through the halls. but i could not catch a glimps of their faces. as i walked to the main bathroom that lead to the playground i saw a bright light, and as it faded away there was my dear friend mike. now normally i can not see faces in my dreams but i could see his clear as day. i stood there talking to mike for awhile. sadly i do not remember what was said. but at the end of my dream a voice called out to him from accross the yard and said,"its time to go." he turned to walk away and i woke up. to me i feel he was just letting all of us know he was ok and in a better place. mike was one of the most selfless people i have ever met. no matter the situation he was there for my family and so he was my family. you will be missed my dear friend. being you were like a dad.

the time is here, i will not cry. not a single tear, will flow from my eyes. the pain i feel, i know will last..your in my heart still, i'll always remember the past. take my hand, as you pass to sleep..may God you to his land, his little sheep. for you and me, i will be strong. i love you friend....and in me your memory will live on.
WE ALL LOVE YOU MIKE!!!! XOXO

It was the first time you had WANTED to pray with me:) God is good:) I'll always remember you as a big grump butt hoggin the remote control, only stef argued with you about that:) but hey, you turned us on to quantum leap! i love you uncle mike and I know we'll see each otheragain sooner than later! Mikey, even though Ive only known you a few short years, we had alot in commom. Im going to miss the nights and weekends you came over and we would watch nascar and ama moto gp racing. My Dearest Friend,Michael you will be deeply missed by me and my family. We lovingly refer to as the guy on the couch. Always there watching over me and always there with your love and friendship. You gave the tools to teach me how to teach my family to love your family NO MATTER WHAT. The values that your mom(opal, may she rest in peace and be by your side)had installed in you and your brothers and sisters to whom I say THANK YOU. Uncle Mike,

Some of my memories revolve around the great conversations we had. Especially about the paranormal. Gone too soon, but glad you can finally rest. You will be missed.

To my beloved friend Mikey,
I thank you Mikey for loving me as much as you did and for walking alongside me throughout the past 38 years!
I thank you for loving so unconditionally and for being the remarkable friend you always were.
Mikey you were far more than a friend to me you were my Brother!
I thank you for all the memories we made and shared together - especially the ones that I now have that can still make me smile and laugh.
I thank you for allowing me to be your friend and for always being beside me through the good, bad, hard and mostly the happy times.
I thank you for just loving me the way you did.
As our journey began, it has now ended; my journey will forever be a little harder because you are no longer here.
I will always smile knowing that you were here throughout my life's journey.
Mikey you were always an honourable man and I was fully blessed to have had the opportunity to have had you in my life over the past 38 years.
I will keep your loving memory in my heart until one day we meet again.
I wish you a safe and speedy journey home with the angels - to the place where you can forever be happy and pain free.
I look forward to the day Mikey where you can one day help me on my journey home
My love & heart always,
Barb (Babs) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
