Michael Joseph Bove III,89, of Palm Beach, Florida, and Newport, Rhode Island, died April 4, 2014. He was born to the late Michael J Bove and Maria Elizabeth Bove, on April 2, 1925. He was graduated from high School in Boston, Massachusetts; enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps during WW II, and after the war attended Princeton University Class of 1948. Mike was a Chevrolet dealer in Massachusetts and Rhode Island for more than 40 years. He also owned National Bickford a specialized printing company in Providence, RI. He was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Palm Beach. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 30 years,...
Michael Joseph Bove III,89, of Palm Beach, Florida, and Newport, Rhode Island, died April 4, 2014.

He was born to the late Michael J Bove and Maria Elizabeth Bove, on April 2, 1925. He was graduated from high School in Boston, Massachusetts; enlisted in the U. S. Marine Corps during WW II, and after the war attended Princeton University Class of 1948.


Mike was a Chevrolet dealer in Massachusetts and Rhode Island for more than 40 years. He also owned National Bickford a specialized printing company in Providence, RI.

He was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Palm Beach.



Mike is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Pamela Anne Bove, his five children Michael J. Bove IV, of Newport , RI, Patrick Henry Bove, of Jupiter, Florida, Douglas Patrick Bove, of Washington D.C.;Christopher Michael Bove, of Palm Beach, and Maria Elizabeth Bove, of Los Angeles, California. Eight grandchildren, Michael J Bove V, Charlotte Collins Chapman;Alex Redman Bove; Victoria Horgan Bove, Joseph Xavier Bove;
Kaitlin Marie Bove, Patrick Henry Bove, Jr.Colin Nicholas Bove; five great grandchildren.

A mass to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Edwards church restoration fund.
