Twin Falls Michael John Christiansen passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014 in Twin Falls, Idaho at the age of 72. He was born in Ontario, Oregon to parents, Hazel and Garland Christiansen, Mike was a long-time resident of both Burley and Twin Falls. He graduated from Burley High School and played football for Ricks College. He was a founding partner of several local businesses, including Michael-Marc Sporting Goods and Speedcraft Printing and Trophies. Michael John Christiansen passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014 in Twin Falls, Idaho at the age of 72.

He was born in Ontario, Oregon to parents, Hazel and Garland Christiansen, Mike was a long-time resident of both Burley and Twin Falls. He graduated from Burley High School and played football for Ricks College. He was a founding partner of several local businesses, including Michael-Marc Sporting Goods and Speedcraft Printing and Trophies.

Mike was an avid sportsman whose life-time passions included water and snow skiing, camping, hunting, and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Shelley, his five children--Camie, Amber, Celeste, Audrey and Ryan, seven grandchildren-Gabe, Hailey, Dylan, Bella, Tyler, Gavin and Devin, son-in-law, Brent, daughter-in-law, Krystal, sister, Sally, sisters-in-law, Gail and Lois, brothers-in-law, Bud, Larry and Michael, and nineteen nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at the 1st Ward LDS Church, 847 Eastland Drive North, in Twin Falls with Bishop Andrew Mix conducting. Burial will follow at the Twin Falls Cemetery. A viewing for family and friends will take place on Tuesday evening, June 10, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Reynolds Funeral Chapel, 2466 Addison Ave. East, Twin Falls as well as one hour prior to the services at the church.

Services are under the direction of Trent Stimpson and staff at Reynolds Funeral Chapel, Twin Falls.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be given in Mike's name to the Johnny Sack Cabin, c/o Fremont County Parks and Recreation, 125 N. Bridge Street, St. Anthony, ID 83445.
