Michael was born in Lynn, the beloved son of Barbara (Coutts) Daly Kupelnick and the late Paul E. Daly, step son of Jack Kupelnick. He was a graduate of St. Mary's High School Class of 1986 where he played hockey and baseball. He attended Worcester State College.
Michael worked for the former AT&T in Peabody and in Pennsylvania. He also worked as a Supervisor for Boston Communications Company in Woburn.
His greatest enjoyment came from his nieces and nephews and watching sports. He took great joy in cheering for all the Boston teams and knew every statistic from years past to the present. Michael had been involved in Lynn Youth Hockey, East Lynn Little League, Pop Warner Football and St. Pius V Basketball.

His cherished nieces and nephews Joey, Molly and Laura Chipman, Eryn, Brittany and Emma Daly. Also survived by many dear aunts, uncles and cousins including Gregory, Lauren and Brendan Tobey.
