My husband Rich and I first met Mike and his late wife Judy online on Disney Echo on FidoNet and on Usenet's rec.arts.disney newsgroup in the 1990s, and we attended Official Disneyana Conventions together. I know fondly he liked the Disney character Figment from Epcot's Journey Into Imagination and would come up to the mic at Q & A at Disney Shareholder meetings to inquire when that character could come back. My husband Rich and I send condolences to Mike's family and friends.

Mike was a good friend for more than 40 years. He worked tirelessly for Mensa and brought happiness to so many kids at Walt Disney World. He also was a good cook; I still make a great Hot and Sour Soup from his recipe.
I will miss Mike's gentle sense of humor and his kind ways. Rest in peace, my friend.

I wonder what will become of his Star Trek book signed by all the VIP's at the movies' world premier. He was so proud of it. He was invited to the Premiere as a thank you for getting Joe M. thru (with flying colors)his IRS audit . I enjoyed knowing Mike since my early 10970's Mensa days.

Mike and Judy were such Disneyphiles, they couldn't wait to retire to move down here. Judy died soon after the move, and he stayed here, working part-time at Disney and enjoying his friends in Mensa. It is difficult to realize that he is gone. RIP Mike.

Mike touched so many faceless friends on the DIS. He was always kind, patient and helpful. He will be greatly missed.
