Surrounded by loved ones at her home in Antelope, Michelle Gibson passed away on November 11, 2012, after a brief, valiant battle with ovarian cancer.
Michelle loved taking care of people, both as a nurse in her professional life and when spending time with family and friends in her personal life.
Michelle's passion and zest for life was infectious. She touched so many hearts in so many ways. She will be greatly missed by family, friends, and all who knew her.
Michelle was born April 17, 1964, in Torrance, CA and raised in Carson, CA. She moved to Sacramento in 1987.
Michelle is survived by her husband, Gary; children, Allison and Bradley; mother, Sylvia Bourque & her husband Euclide; her brothers Leonard Muise Jr. & his wife Elizabeth; and Douglas Muise & his wife Kim. Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Muise Sr.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, Dec. 2nd, at 1 p.m. at Nicoletti, Culjis and Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd., Sacramento. Following services, Michelles life will be celebrated at her home in Antelope.
The family requests that donations be made in Michelle's name to: Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, 14 Pennsylvania Plaza, Suite 1710, New York, NY 10122.

Dearest Gary, Allison, and Bradley,
Please accept my heartfelt condolences for our loss of Michelle. I am happy that she shared some of her zest for life with all of us while she was here. My hope is that we can all take her positive attributes and pass them forward. I will cherish our memories forever.
