Michelle Sacksteder, 55, died Friday, February 3, 2012, in a local hospital. She was a native of Shakopee, Minnesota, and lived in Sulphur for 35 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. Survivors include her loving husband of 24 years, Paul Sacksteder; father, Roy Oldham, of Westlake; children, Erin O'Connor, of Sulphur, Tanya Marie Smith, of Sulphur, Robert Smith, III, and his wife, Barbara, of Duncan, South Carolina, Kristina Sacksteder of Pensacol, Florida, and Brian Sacksteder, of Lake Charles; sisters and brothers, Kristy Mims, Patrick O'Connor, Michael O'Connor, Shannon McInnis, Neala O'Connor and Rhonda Folds; and...
Michelle Sacksteder, 55, died Friday, February 3, 2012, in a local hospital.

She was a native of Shakopee, Minnesota, and lived in Sulphur for 35 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids.

Survivors include her loving husband of 24 years, Paul Sacksteder; father, Roy Oldham, of Westlake; children, Erin O'Connor, of Sulphur, Tanya Marie Smith, of Sulphur, Robert Smith, III, and his wife, Barbara, of Duncan, South Carolina, Kristina Sacksteder of Pensacol, Florida, and Brian Sacksteder, of Lake Charles; sisters and brothers, Kristy Mims, Patrick O'Connor, Michael O'Connor, Shannon McInnis, Neala O'Connor and Rhonda Folds; and 13 grandchildren and 1 on the way.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Jeannette Oldham; and brother, Joseph Douglas Oldham.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 9, in Hixson-Sulphur Memorial. Burial will be in Westlake Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Thursday, in the funeral home.
