Mickey was the second child of Merriman and Ada (Creason) Harlow. Born during an extended family stay in Palace, Missouri; Mickey was returned to Washington at about 6 months of age and lived the rest of her life in the Seattle area. She passed-away in Fife at the age of 80.

A graduate of Franklin High School in Seattle, Mickey married her beloved husband of 51 years Donald Kraut in 1949. Don and Mickey settled in White Center in 1954, where they would raise their family and where Mickey would work an interesting array of jobs through the years that included taxi driver, mini mart manager, and art teacher, to name a few.

Aside from her family, Mickey's great joy came in her volunteerism as she was a tireless advocate for the White Center community for several decades. She served as a board member for the White Center Chamber of Commerce, was a patron of the Boys and Girls Club, and volunteered for the King County Sheriff for 18 years. Mickey is perhaps best known in the community as a long-time organizer of the White Center Jubilee Days.

Mickey was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband; by her daughters Bonnie Cicci and Ruth Zimmerman (Gary), by brothers Bud Harlow and Grover Harlow, and by her sister Patricia Jean Harlow. She is survived by her sisters Merri Paynter (Joe), Joy Remetes, and Gay Farvour (Vern); and by her grandchildren Adam J. Fyall, Andrew Zimmerman, and Michelle Zimmerman.

"Ah Mom, can't believe that you are gone. It's so hard to believe, but you would of been so proud of Adam, as you were always proud of him, but this time he..." Nicki Daughter #3 (Burien, WA)
