He loved his pets; riding his Harley; doing "yard-work;" and family road trips, including bus trips with his wife. Mike was a collector of many things. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Colleen; his children: Gary (Amy) Bailey, Jr., Davenport; Tonya (Mike) Garnica, Davenport; Tara (Oscar) Diaz, Mesa, AZ; Trisha (Dan) Turner, Davenport and Toni (Adam) Miller, Horicon, WI; 17 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother, Tom (Sue) Bailey, Atlanta, GA and three step-sons: Terry, Todd and Troy Peterson. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Richard Bailey. Mike's family would like to thank Dr. Mercer and Dr. Lee at the Genesis West Cancer Center along with Wendy and the nurses at the Genesis Infusion Center, for the wonderful care shown to Mike and his family during his illness. Your kindness will never be forgotten! Memorials may be made to the family.

I am a distant cousin of Mike's. My mother Donna and Mike's mom Lois were first cousins. Mom told me about Mike's passing and I wanted to offer my sympathy. Of course I didn't know Mike well but remembered him from my younger years when the Dunker relatives would get together. I remember going to the QC airport to see him come home from Viet Nam once. It looks like he had a wonderful family and a good life just not nearly long enough.

It's hard for me to think of Hollywood as being gone. My condolences to Colleen and the rest of Gary's family. Hopefully we will be able ride motorcycles again when we meet in heaven. I will miss you old friend. Rest in peace.

After looking at all the pictures that were chosen. Really goes to show that Mike lived life to the fullest. Didn't hold back a bit. I think this is a good example for all. Do what makes you happy, don't let things pass you by. Life's short live it!
