Celebrating their 16th wedding anniversary on January 11, 2013 she posted, "16 years of marriage, twenty years of friendship. We've been through the ups and downs, and even the side ways. Through it all he has been there no matter what. Always constant. Always with open arms and an open heart." Of spending time at the beach one of her favorite past times she said, "There is nothing better than being by the ocean. The sun on my face. The breeze in my hair. The smell of the salt water in my nose."
