Mildred Marie McCrimmon
East Lansing
Age 92, passed away November 13, 2017. Mildred was born June 18, 1925 in Highland Township, MI to Frank and Bertha (Fauble) Huggins. Mildred was a resident of East Lansing since 1952 and a member of Towar Hart Baptist Church. She made bomb bay doors during WWII for the B-24 bombers and loved sewing and making clothing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert H. (1991) McCrimmon; baby brother, Raymond; sister, Pauline Raymond; grandsons, Christopher McCrimmon, Matthew McCrimmon and Ken Lewis and sister-in-law, Darlene Huggins.
Surviving is her daughter, Sherry (Victor) Lewis and son, Gregory (Robin) McCrimmon; four grandchildren, Mark (Raquel) McCrimmon, Tasha McCrimmon, Andrea (Jerry) Neighbours and Beverly Lewis; eight great-grandchildren, Kayla, Mark, Jr., Remington, Maci, Gage, Jensen, Madison and Jon (Nikki); great-great-grandson, Matthew; brother, Paul Huggins; brother-in-law, Carl Raymond and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 17, 10:00 a.m., Towar Hart Baptist Church, 6157 Towar Avenue, East Lansing with Rev. Kenneth Ridge officiating. Interment will be in Highland #1 Cemetery, 4 p.m. with Rev. Deb Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, November 16, 6-8 p.m., Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 East Grand River Avenue, East Lansing.
