Mildred Tillis Beach Arnold, 89, of Westerville, Ohio, formerly of Smiths Station, Alabama, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, September 14, 2012. Funeral services will be held 11:00am EST Tuesday September 25th in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Highway 431 N, Phenix City, Alabama, 36867, with the Reverend Jeff Dravenstott officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday 1 hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Arnold was born June 21, 1923 in Florala, Alabama, daughter of the late Cora Kelley Tillis and Charles Tillis. She was a homemaker and charter member of Midway Baptist Church in Smiths Station, AL. Other than her parents Mrs. Arnold is preceded in death by her husbands, William James Beach and Luther Preston Arnold. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be missed by all.
Survivors include her daughter, Wanda Patton of Westerville, OH, son, James Dewitt Beach of Columbus, OH.,
