Millicent Ellis Dillon (Milly) a true Arizona native, Milly was born on March 19, 1931 in Phoenix. She passed away peacefully on March 28, 2013 at her home in Sun Lakes. Milly was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Bill, who passed away in March of 2012. Milly graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1948 and Arizona State College (ASU) in 1952. She held pin #1 from Kappa Delta Sorority. A devout Sun Devil, she never had a nice thing to say about the U of A!! Millicent Ellis Dillon (Milly) a true Arizona native, Milly was born on March 19, 1931 in Phoenix. She passed away peacefully on March 28, 2013 at her home in Sun Lakes. Milly was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Bill, who passed away in March of 2012. Milly graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1948 and Arizona State College (ASU) in 1952. After graduating from college, Milly taught at Superior High School and Rio Vista Elementary School. She was a very involved parent, who volunteered her time for many parent organizations. Some will remember her running the Madison #2 Little League Snack Bar and as President of the Camelback High School Parent Music Organization. In retirement years, Milly & Bill enjoyed traveling the world while taking extensive cruises and vacations. They especially loved taking their six grandchildren to Disneyland. She was loved dearly and is survived by daughter Pam Freeman (Queen Creek), grandchildren Dillon (US Air Force Academy, Colorado) and Dustin Freeman (Queen Creek), son Jim (Kim) Dillon and grandchildren Chelsea Myers, Keegan & Bethany Dillon (Prescott) and daughter Missy (Eric) Boldt and granddaughter Tatum Boldt of Tucson.
