Milton Louis Hnyla, Sr., 83, of Deltona Florida passed away on Wednesday May 23, 2012. He was born on January 1, 1929 in Baltimore, MD to parents Louis and Louise Hnyla. He has lived in Deltona for the past 25 years. Mr. Hnyla served his country honorably in the United States Navy Reserves for 22 years and was a WWII veteran. Milton was retired after 35 years of service from Martin Marietta. He loved to travel and enjoyed airplanes. Milton loved his "Sweetie" which was his '67 red Mustang. He was a member of the Volusia County Mustang Club and the Deltona Moose Lodge. Milton was a devoted family man who will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving wife Rosemarie Hnyla. He is the devoted father of Milton L. Hnyla, Jr. and his wife Karen, William R. Hnyla and his wife Yukiko, Gerald Hnyla and his wife Sharon; dear brother of May Yent and the late Helen Goebel; loving grandfather of Michael, Eric, Amy, Stephanie, Marshall, Eric, Klaus and Karen. Also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, Inc. 9705 Belair Rd Nottingham, Md 21236, on Thursday 6-8pm. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1pm at the funeral home. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery. Online tributes may be left at www.schimunekfuneralhomes.com
