Mrs. Minnie "Kate" Atchley The visitation will be held at Moss-Service funeral home on Sunday, March 28, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Kate Atchley, age 83 of Cullman, will be held on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Jim Rush Funeral Home in Cleveland, Tennessee. Interment will follow at Spring Creek Methodist Cemetery, with Rev. Alan Lovelace officiating. Mrs. Atchley will have a visitation in Tennessee for two hours prior to the funeral on Tuesday. Mrs. Atchley passed away on Friday, March 26, 2010 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. She was born on August 2, 1926 in Cleveland, TN to Claude J. Beck and Bessie Lowery Beck. Kate and her husband Roy, attended Seventh Street Baptist Church in Cullman, and formerly they attended Waterville Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tn. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.
Survivors include her Husband of 68 years, Roy Anderson Atchley; three Sons, Norris (Barbara) Atchley, Pete Atchley, and Dale (Victoria) Atchley; two Sisters, Claudia Mae Beck Moss and Martha Belle Beck; nine Grandchildren and six Great-Grandchildren.
The family request donations be made to Hospice Of Cullman County, in lieu-of-flowers.
