Miriam M. Auman,87, Shoemakersville, passed away on Aug. 5, 2010, in the Reading Hospital of natural causes. She was the wife of Thomas L. Miller Sr. Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Anna (Kuch) Murray. She was last employed as a secretary for CNA Insurance for 18 years until her retirement. She previously worked for Berks County Trust, which became Wachovia, as a teller and later as a secretary for many years. She was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Reading. Miriam M. Auman,87, Shoemakersville, passed away on Aug. 5, 2010, in the Reading Hospital of natural causes. She was the wife of Thomas L. Miller Sr.
Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Anna (Kuch) Murray.

She was last employed as a secretary for CNA Insurance for 18 years until her retirement. She previously worked for Berks County Trust, which became Wachovia, as a teller and later as a secretary for many years.

She was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Reading.

She was a dancer with the USO and was a graduate of Reading High School.

She was very active with the YR Club, the Northmont Club and a member of the Green Valley Club.

In addition to her husband, Miriam is survived by a son, Edward E., husband of Pat Sharpe, Califon, N.J.; grandchildren, Edward E. Sharpe Jr., Ephrata; Jill, wife of Jason Bieber, Blandon; and three great-grandchildren: Angela Sharpe, Megan Bieber and Caitlynn Bieber.

A gathering will be held at the Auman Funeral Homes, Reiffton, Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will be Monday at noon at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Exeter Twp.
