Obituary

  Mirta Banda Beins passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2013, at the age of 61.  She was born on January 15, 1952, in Taft, Texas, to Mateo and Eunice Banda. Mirta grew up in Taft but spent the last several years living in Nebraska.  She had recently returned to live once again in Taft.  Mirta worked as a healthcare provider.   She was preceded in death by her father, Mateo Banda and her sister, Mary Bennett.   Mirta will always be remembered and loved by her sons, Christopher (Katie) Beins, Teolifdo (Macy) Grando; daughter, Monica Beins; mother, Eunice Banda; four grandchildren; five...


 



Mirta Banda Beins passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2013, at the age of 61.  She was born on January 15, 1952, in Taft, Texas, to Mateo and Eunice Banda. She was preceded in death by her father, Mateo Banda and her sister, Mary Bennett.



 



Mirta will always be remembered and loved by her sons, Christopher (Katie) Beins, Teolifdo (Macy) Grando; daughter, Monica Beins; mother, Eunice Banda; four grandchildren; five brothers: Arnulfo (Janie) Banda, Romaldo (Cindy) Banda, Clemente (Hilda) Banda, Mateo (Linda) Banda, Jr., Pablo (Annabelle) Banda; three sisters:  Estella Cisneros, Rosalinda (Hernando) Alvidrez, Lurdes Pano; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.



 



Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 30, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Taft.  Interment will follow the service at Taft Memorial Park.
