Mitt and I met ten years ago at the bus stop we were both waiting for the same bus to take us to our works. It took a while for us to exchange our numbers because of his shyness and my pride. Finally a friend of mine told me "just give him your number!". I finally saw him again, ran out into the street almost getting hit by a car just to give him my number. That night we talked for hours and two days later we had our first date. Mitt and I didn't make it official as boyfriend and girlfriend for months while dating until I asked him one day "So are we going out like boyfriend and girlfriend, because you never asked me?" he said "I thought we already are". From that day I choose our anniversary date on June 5th 2003. On Valentine's Day 2007 he proposed to me and on our seven year anniversary we got married.
I'm so lucky to have had Mitt and honored that he spent these past 10 years with me. He was such a great father, husband, best friend and man. What we had was rare, the unconditional love, being in love, flaws and all. He accepted me and I him, we were so comfortable together. Even the Saturday before he passed away I still got butterflies in my stomach when I saw him walk in the room. I was so happy and proud to give Mitt our son and I to be the mother of his child. I knew how good of a father he would be and I was excited to see them together and was looking forward to seeing Mitt raise our son and all the goofy things that they would do. I was happy, and that was all that he wanted me to be. I'm mad that he won't be here to raise our son. He was such a good man and all he wanted in life was to be a great father, husband and have a stable household. I have ten years of memories to share with Lil' Mitt but mad, why did he have to leave us so soon? On a positive note, I just have to think that Lil' Mitt and I have the best angel looking out for us at all times. I hope I do a good job raising our son Mitt, please guide me. I love you Mitt. Lil' Mitt and I love and miss you so much.
