I am saddened by the passing of my cousin. I met him and Elnora Johnson a couple of times while I was in Michigan. He was a very nice man.

Martha and Marie, I am so saddened to learn of his passing. I would like to send a much belated Thank You to your entire family for allowing me into your home all those years ago. Your dad treated me as his friend, even though I was only 17. I miss my friend Earl so much.
I know that we will all be together again, all too soon. I hope Earl hasn't forgotten how to play that clear guitar. If you see this message and if it is okay to contact you, post another message and I will contact you. Until then, Dan.

Martha & Marie - Again just wanted you to know that we all were so proud of Monroe & his story telling was such a part of the good memories. He was proud of all his family & always asked about the nieces and nephew. Following is a poem written for him by Lola's daughter Jackie. When those we love walk through the veil
Onto that other shore
We feel the grief beyond belief
That they're not with us any more.
The Light is bright that beckons them,
Christ's gentle, loving hand;
We'll meet again, family and friend,
When we all join Heaven's Band.
Love,
Jackie
