Morris Carter Terry, of Eufaula, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center. He was 77.
Mr. Terry was born August 19, 1939 in Terra Ceia, a small island community off the west coast of Florida. He was a man of integrity and raised his family with respect and love. He worked as a machinist for 56 years. Mr. Terry moved to Lake Eufaula in 2006 and continued his work there. He was admired and loved by everyone in the community and all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Daniel and Edna Mae Terry and his son, Tony Pitt.
Survivors include his wife, Hannah Terry; daughters, Wendy Ezell (Donnie), Kimberly Long and Belinda Rimer; grandchildren, Carter Welsh, Gabriel Long, and Dalton Rimer; brothers, Burt Terry and Brent Terry; and many extended family members.
Arrangements under the direction of Byrd Funeral Home, Dothan, Alabama.
