Myrna Pitzer, 87, of Kansas City, MO passed peacefully Friday March 10, 2017 at NorthCare Hospice House, North Kansas City. She was employed by Farmland Industries, where she retired with 25 years of service. At a very young age she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. Her most recent church family was Vivion Road Church of Christ, Kansas City, MO where she was a member. She was baptized March 2009. Myrna enjoyed bowling, square dancing, loved working in her flower gardens. Her beautiful roses were her favorite. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Donald Pitzer, infant daughter Sharon Kay Pitzer, daughter Diana Marie Walmann, and granddaughter Christina Nicole Walmann, great grandson Tyler Lee Davenport. Her infectious smile will be remembered forever. Survivors include her 3 daughters Patricia (Dan) Davenport of Burwell, NE, Cheryl (Michael) Wagner of Kansas City, MO and Julie (Roy) Davis of Oak Grove, MO; 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and her dearest friend Avilda Miller.
Service 11:00am Thursday White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone, MO. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Memorial gifts to Alzheimer’s Association.
