One of my fondest memories was when Aunt Myrt and Dorothy would come to California to see Mom (Bernice Lloyd Smith) in the spring . For about 15 years, I got to join in the laughter, jigsaw puzzles, Wheel of Fortune, whale watching etc. when they came to my house, and then on to Fort Bragg for a week . What a special time hearing stories from their childhood and beyond. They shared in the best of times, and the worst of times, but always remained best of friends.
