Myrtle Virginia Adams died July 16, 2012 at Georgetown University Hospital at the age of 87. Myrtle was a house wife who loved to cook and bake, especially Sunday dinners for the family and member's of the Waldorf Moose Lodge. Myrtle was born April 13, 1925 in Pomfret, Maryland to the late Charles and Hattie (Padgett) Pickeral. Preceded in death by her husband Louis Adams who died in 2005. Survivors include: son's Donald and Larry Adams and daughter Joyce Liller. 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 3 sister's: Bernice Milstead, Mae Gullixson and Rosie Adams. Pallbearers will be Brian, Nick and Alan Adams, Shannon and Charles Richards and Tyler Tippett. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 19, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. at The Huntt Funeral, 3035 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, Maryland where funeral service will be on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 10:00 am. Burial will take place at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, Maryland. Pastor Robert Carter will officiate. Donations may be made in Myrtle's name to the Alzhimers Association, Southern Maryland Office P.O. Box 1889 LaPlata, Maryland 20646
