Nancy Genevieve Burden Higdon of Springfield, MO, born March 24, 1953, passed away November 26, 2016. Nancy was a native of Mobile, Alabama. Nancy was an avid sports fan - especially if Alabama and Auburn were playing. Nancy's main focus was always on her children and grandchildren. Her other passion was genealogy. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Nancy Higdon Memorial Scholarship through the OTC Foundation. The family would like to thank Dr. Albert Bonebrake and Kristen Heydt, NPA, their staff, the Hulston Cancer Center and CoxHealth Systems for nine years of outstanding care.

My deepest sympathy to Nancy's family...I just learned of her passing today. Nancy and I went to school together and had lost touch over the years (Little Flower Catholic School). Nancy was a dear & sweet friend. It saddens me to hear of this...I am so sorry.
