Nancy Miller, 58, of Mena passed away June 9, 2017. She was born to the late Samuel and Virginia Nance in Peoria, Illinois.
Nancy worked as a State Farm Agent for over 18 years in the small town of Mena. This sometimes made quick trips to the store not so quick. She was always generous with a kind word, friendly visit, and sympathetic ear.
Nancy‘s life was her family. She loved cooking large meals where table time family stories were shared; her scroodles and strawberry pie were almost as filling as all the love she put into them. Holiday games were a tradition in the Miller house, as was unconditional love and acceptance. Her children Derek (Linda) Ennis of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Samara (Kenneth) Nolen of Hot Springs will carry on the tradition of family meals and holiday play. Nancy’s grandchildren Brittany Ennis, Brooklyn Ennis, Baily Ennis and Samuel Nolen will remember how dearly she loved them all.
“I love you today, tomorrow and forever,” has been written on every card her husband, Perry, has given her these past 36 years. Every evening at 8 he would call her from work and every evening she would stay up past midnight until he got home. They cherished their time together.
A Celebration of Nancy's Life will be held at Gross Funeral Home Tuesday, June 13 at 2 pm.
