Nancy Trevino Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 11, 2016.

Nancy C. Trevino, 78, beloved wife of Gildardo (Gil) Trevino, of Goose Creek, SC entered into eternal rest October 10, 2016 surrounded by her family. Nancy was born June 14, 1938 in South Hadley Falls, MA, daughter of the late Joseph P. Carriveau and Stella D. Carriveau. As a young lady she worked for RCA of America and as a switchboard operator and later in life worked passionately within the PTA and Goose Creek Parks and Recreation Department. While pursing her passion in the recreation department she spent over 30 years being an advocate for providing a safe and prosperous environment for the children who lived in Goose Creek. Assuming roles of leadership within the Parks and Recreation Department and working closely with the City of Goose Creek and its residents. In this capacity she was never prideful, but one who devoted her resources and time to selflessly serve. Nancy was a devoted wife and mother who sought to make the place she called home a better place for all who lived there, even beyond her time spent on this earth. Nancy also cared deeply for animals, her dog Snowball often perched in her lap at the end of a hard day of work.
