Mrs. Nancy was my favorite teacher throughout college. She taught my first and last class during the associates degree program. Mrs. Nancy taught me alot about things in life that I had not otherwise learned growing up in my early life. She always took time out to teach people individually if that person didn't understand the lesson. She always had a laugh and cackle that made my day. I would purposely do things at times just to hear her laugh. She was not only my favorite teacher, but also my mentor. I will always love and miss ya Mrs. Nancy as now you fly high above the clouds and reach your final destination in heaven. You know each day we are given special blessings in our life for which we sometimes fail to see but as I look back I can truly say God put you here to teach students like me what life is all about and what purpose we serve in life. May God hold you in his hand and forever protect you. Thank you Mrs. Nancy for all you have done.

I will miss working with Nancy. She was down to earth with a delightful sense of humor. What really stands out about Nancy for me, though, was how much she genuinely cared for the many people who had the pleasure of knowing her, but especially for the students under her care. Many students owe their success to Nancy's determination and encouragement.

Nancy was a great friend and Mentor to me. She was never too busy to take time to talk to me and help in any way possible while I was a student at Aquinas. She always had a smile on her face and a word of encouragement. I talked to her frequently after I graduated and she was always helpful. She will be gretly missed. May she rest in peace.

I had the pleasure of working as a math tutor under Nancy the last few years at Aquinas College. I will cherish the many conversations we had, and will fondly remember Nancy for her welcoming demeanor, her sense of humor, and especially for her passion to help students. She was truly a delight to be around. One of the very first emails Nancy sent out to the tutors ended with, "Thank you for all that you do. I hope you will not hesitate to come to me with any needs and ideas. I am here for you!!" She certainly was, and will be missed dearly. My thoughts and prayers are with Nancy's family and loved ones.

Nancy and I worked together in the Adult Studies program at Aquinas. She will be greatly missed by present and former colleagues and students alike. What I will miss most are her smile and laughter, her sense of humor, and the latest news she had to share about her much beloved great nephew.

In remembering Nancy, I wish to share the follwoing prayer contributed by Nancy to the Dominican Campus Prayer Book.
St. Teresa's Prayer
May today there be peace within. May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith. May you use those gifts that you have received, and pass on the love that has been given to you...
May you be content knowing you are a child of God. Let this presence settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us.

I pray her family finds comfort knowing Nancy shared her gifts, she passed on her love, and as a child of God, she is exactly where she is meant to be.
Peggy Daniel, Aquinas College

Nancy was a star among the staff of the Adult Studies Program when we worked together at Aquinas College. Fun-loving, hard-working, and astute in her observations of human nature, Nancy cared deeply for her students and always had a funny story to share. Her repose, and the peace and comfort of our Lord upon her family and friends, are my chief prayers at this time. --Mark Newcomb
