Obituary

Nancy Marilyn Berry passed on peacefully Saturday, June 12, after bravely battling extensive health issues. She relied heavily on her personal faith in Christ and loving care from her husband. Born and raised in South Minneapolis, she attended Longfellow Grade School, Roosevelt High School, and received her nursing education at Augsburg College and Lutheran Deaconess School of Nursing. She practiced as a registered nurse for nearly 10 years. She moved to Duluth after marrying, where she lived and raised her family. Nancy was a loving and thoughtful wife, mother, and grandmother. Nancy Marilyn Berry passed on peacefully Saturday, June 12, after bravely battling extensive health issues. She relied heavily on her personal faith in Christ and loving care from her husband.

Born and raised in South Minneapolis, she attended Longfellow Grade School, Roosevelt High School, and received her nursing education at Augsburg College and Lutheran Deaconess School of Nursing. She practiced as a registered nurse for nearly 10 years.

She moved to Duluth after marrying, where she lived and raised her family.

Nancy was a loving and thoughtful wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed dancing, gardening, cooking and making holidays memorable for family and friends. She cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren, and always made people feel special.


Nancy is survived by her devoted husband Douglas;
her four children: Steven (Jennifer), Craig, Karla (Chuck) Kregel, Bryan; and four grandchildren: Amelia, Anna and Samuel Berry, and Caleigh Kregel.
She is also survived by her parents, Stanley and Berniece Felth;
her sister, Judith (Vince) Monto; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.

A Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Funeral Service Thursday, June 17, 2010 in Christ Lutheran Church. 2415 Ensign Street. Rev. Michael Main officiating. A reception following the service. Burial will be in Sunrise Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, St. Luke's Hospital Hospice, or the American Cancer Society.
