Oh Miriam ... I only just heard about Nathan. There are no words I can use that are adequate right now. There is nothing that can touch your pain, no one that can meet all that you need right now. Only He can journey this with you. Only Jesus. Find your refuge, your comfort at His feet. Just know that I care. Please let Gary know that Vergil is thinking of him.

I am so terribly sorry and very saddened to hear about the passing of Nathan. It is just so surreal because just a few weeks ago, he and I were talking about how he wanted to be a police officer; and how he was just recovering from a cold... he was just a friendly and easygoing friend. I enjoyed working with him at THD. I will miss him.

I am very proud to call Nathan my cousin but that is not all that he was he was a companion and friend and i want him to know that i am always going to remember him . My aunt Miriam and uncle Gary must be so upset and i want them to know even though i am miles away i still love them . Nathan was 20 and this happened his life had just begun and he is gone it hurts to think about it and i pray the Lord will love Nathan as much or even more than i love him . I am very upset but Nathan is always watching over us to protect us and to love us and we must never forget that.

Miriam, Gary and Daniel -- Seldom do we get the opportunity to meet someone in life with such a kind and gentle spirit, that encourages others to be the same. Nathan was that individual. The loss of Nathan at such a tender age, only highlights what an impact he had upon our lives. As we grieve the shocking loss of such a wonderful person, we take comfort in the knowledge that Our Heavenly Father has called his son home. It was an honor to call Nathan our nephew and cousin. We know that the Lord will envelope you with his love and grace, as you struggle to deal with the impact of your loss. You are in our prayers always.

We were saddened to read in the Herald this morning that Nathan has passed away. It seems like just yesterday that he and Wyatt were bounding up the stairs heading to Sunday School at Foothills, and both peeking impishly down through the glass, smiling, at their parents chatting below. The loss of a child is huge. You will be in our prayers constantly in the coming months. May our loving heavenly Father hold you tightly.
