Mr. Neander Evanda “Van” Wilson, age 76 of McDonough, Georgia passed away August 16, 2014. He was born in Tampa, Florida to the late Davis Bell and Susie Mae Patterson Wilson. He was preceded in death by his sister, Loraine Thompson. Van served his country in the United States Marine Corps and retired after 20 years with Delta Airlines. He was a Mason and a professional bowler. He enjoyed time with his family and grandchildren and was an avid sports fan. Survivors include his children, Chris Wilson of McDonough, Jennifer Wilson of Duluth, Theresa Wilson of Locust Grove, Timothy (Jena) Wilson of Hampton, Scott Wilson of...

Survivors include his children, Chris Wilson of McDonough, Jennifer Wilson of Duluth, Theresa Wilson of Locust Grove, Timothy (Jena) Wilson of Hampton, Scott Wilson of McDonough, Mark (Angela) Wilson of The Woodlands, Texas; grandchildren, Roslyn, Jordan, Korben, Jeremy, Noel, Sarah, Jacob, Jamal, Jaylen and Makalah; brother, Davis Bell Wilson, Jr. of St. Paul, Minnesota. Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Haisten Funeral Home. Pastor Dave Riley will officiate. Friends may visit the family one hour prior to the service. Contributions are asked to be made to the Henry County Fire Department Honor Guard, 110 S.
