Larry,
It was over 50 years ago, but this past New Years weekend(2014)I was determined to try to find Pineeda Hill which I found had been changed to Ernest Sands Rd. Your last name (Turner Drive) was how I found it. I drove up a hill that made me go left. I knew I was close when I saw Harvey Orange Groves. I thought they would be gone to development by now! I pulled into one of the driveways near your dad's house and the neighbors said that Ned passed away last summer. I thought they meant you!! Then when I found your dad's obit, I saw your name. I'm sorry I had forgotten your name. I see they raised my old house and built a new one next to the Mays' old house. The DeLoaches house is still there. Alot of memories came to mind, your grandmother for one.
I just wanted to say your dad looked just like I remember him. I see he kept his mustache but I could see him even through the snow on top of his head. I'm sorry for the loss of your father.Peace to your family, "Ann Wallen" [email protected]

I have so many fond memories of my Uncle Ned. His stories, his laugh, his zest for life. I especially enjoyed listening to him and dad as they would talk about their work and travel escapades. I think he was dad's best friend. We will truly miss him.

To Larry and Ellen I remember Ned from going to church with my Mom, they both went to the same church off of Wickham Rd. Ned always had a hand shake and smile for everyone.

Our family will always remember Uncle Ned's love of telling a good story. We had so much fun hunting lizards in his tropical paradise of a yard and visiting at the Scott Wilding when he was still able to venture north to PA. He was a hard worker who was always on the go and who, for years and years, never seemed to change one bit. He will be missed by the Kantz family, but will live on in our hearts. Larry, Ellen and girls, you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Larry and Family, We are all saddened by your loss..I will always remember Uncle Ned for our many adventures and misadventures on every fishing trip we took.
