NELLIE MAE WIGGINS, 95, of Fort Wayne, died on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, 2:56 p.m., in Fort Wayne. Born March 11, 1917, in Fort Wayne, she was a daughter of the late Albert Cattin and Edith (Rousseau). She married Ellis H. Wiggins in July of 1952, in Fort Wayne; he preceded her in death in 1995. She was a machine operator at General Electric for 13 years; Wayne Candies (made Bunn bars) for three years; and worked in the kitchen for Fort Wayne Community Schools (Snider High School and South Side High School) for 10 years. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church. Her hobbies included bowling, square and round dancing, she loved her 'Puss Cats' and traveling with her husband. Surviving are her sons, Michael E. (Susan) Wiggins of Fort Wayne and Richard E. (Beverly) Biltz of St. Cloud, Fla.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many friends at Emeritus. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Carl and Paul R. Cattin. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Monday at Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Road, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Steve Alhersmeyer officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 Sunday at the funeral home. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Preferred memorials to St. Peter's Lutheran Church Building Fund or Heartland Home Healthcare & Hospice.
