Loving father of Philip (Sandra), Rick (Kathy), Carol Domanski (Ronald), Lisa Reitan (John) and Cindy Brodsky (Doug). Cherished grandfather of Nicole, Corine, Kaitlin, Kevin, Nicholas, Samantha, Kyle, Coleton, Colin, Taylor and Paige and adored great grandfather of Connor, Caden and Trent. Dear brother of Sam Mercurio, Mary Zaza, Anna Head, Tina DeCandia and the late Frankie Mercurio. Reposing at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Route 25A, Miller Place, NY. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass Thursday St. Louis de Montfort R.C. Church, Sound Beach , NY. Entombment Washington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association.

I know Nick since 1960. We both worked for Duralee Fabrics. Although we didn't see each other very often over the years, we still remained good friends with Nick and Louise. Frank and I moved from LI to Las Vegas 17 years ago and I treasure the time spent with them on our visits every year or two. It was always the highlight of our trip. RIP dear friend.
