Nick was a great technician, and an overall great person. I was lucky enough to be one of his supervisors and considered Nick as a friend. I know this is a great loss for not only Momentum, VW, but his family and friends. My condolences and heart go out to everyone and anyone who has had the chance to get to know Nick, especially his family. Godspeed.

Sandy - We've never met, though we share family members whose hearts are broken over the loss of Nicholas. I'm told that you and Nick shared a bond most mothers can only hope for. As I read the words of people who knew Nick, I cannot fully comprehend the enormity of loss and sadness you feel. Please know that you will be in my prayers for a long time asking for your eventual peace. I only wish there were more I could do. God be with you. Your cousin thru Rita and Dave.

The news of Nick's passing hit me really hard. I met Nick through the internet, and we played online games together for almost six years. In that time, we had many fun conversations together. I will always remember Nick's outrageous sense of humor, his laughter, and his kindness. He was a dear brother to me. In the last few years, I have experienced ongoing progressive nerve damage in my legs and have been in a wheelchair, dealing with chronic pain. Nick's laughter always made the pain go away, it was better than any medicine. I got to meet Nick face to face in California last year. He was always smiling. He truly loved life. Its hard to accept that he is gone. My prayers go out to your family as you grieve Nick's loss.

Though I really only knew him as "Divide" in World of Warcraft, and met him in person only once, Nick has left an indelible impression. His infectious laughter could brighten any situation and his joyous, carefree approach to life was apparent to anyone who met him. The world is a poorer place for his passing.

I also met Nick through the World of Warcraft online game, and it was there that I also heard the sad news. He was filled with laughter, and was always helpful to other people.
I hope that his family finds some solace in knowing that he brought laughter and happiness to folks that they may have not otherwise have met.
He will be missed, and my thoughts are with his family & friends.

I never had the chance to meet Nick in person, but over the few years I did get the pleasure of being able to know him online via World of Warcraft. From just chatting about mechanics, as we both worked at auto dealership service departments, to other random interests, to gaming stuff, Nick and I had a lot of fun and laughs. I have a lot of fun memories of him, co-tanking the Saturday raids with Multiply (his druid) to doing other in game stuff. He was always carefree and making somebody laugh. His tagline for everything "Like a boss" and his auto-grats spam to those who achieved something and his genuine good humor always put a smile on my face. He is and will be truely missed by all of us. My heart is heavy and goes out to all who are touched by his passing. *hugs* - My best to all, Zeake/Anakah/etc etc...

Nick was a wonderful young man. His California friends mourn his loss deeply and send their love, prayers and condolences to his family and friends. His joy of life and love of laughter is unlike anything any of us have ever seen. You couldn't have known him and not smiled. We are worse off for his loss and Heaven is better for his presence.
