I am saddened to hear of Dr. Quick's passing. He was a very intelligent, thoughtful, and down-to-earth individual. Since first meeting him several years ago, I have always admired him. He taught me many things about life (like relationships), business (investing, for example), and the natural world (he was a good gardener and a firm believer of the scientific method)...I consider my lucky to have known him and Mrs. Penny. Rest in peace old friend; I am glad that you two are together again.

Dr. Quick has been one of the kindest, decent human beings I have ever known. I appreciate him for being a friend to me. I look forward to see him again some sunny day...
