I am so glad I had time with Nick on Saturday night at a family wedding. James, my husband, and I were seated at the same table as Nick and Christine and had a wonderful time with them. He was so happy and really seemed to enjoy himself. He and Christine shared several dances and looked so graceful and elegant on the dance floor.
Nick loved his family: mother, wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren (His and Hers). He was talented at building things, planting things, designing things, and decorating his home. He loved to read and his collection of books reveal a wide range of interests. Nick had the gift of hospitality and always made me feel so welcome in their home: lots of good food and lots of laughing around their table. I'm going to miss his laugh!
I know my sister, Christine, will say she is missing her "better half" now. And, all of us, family and friends, will feel a deep void without Nick in our earthly lives. I've always been proud to call him "brother"-in-law!
