Nieves Benavides, 86, passed away Monday October 29, 2012. Nieves was born in Coupland, TX and moved to Taylor, TX in 1937. She has been a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church for 35 years.
She is survived by her husband of 35 wonderful years, Jessie Benavides, of Taylor, Tx; her sister, Carry Gonzales, of Waco, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews in Texas and Chicago.
A visitation was held from 6pm to 8pm with a Rosary at 7pm on Tuesday October 30, 2012 at Condra Funeral Home.
A mass will be held at 10 am on Wednesday October 31, 2012 at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
