Niles Clevesy Obituary

Niles A. Clevesy, 83, of Barefoot Bay died Saturday (4/5) at Carnegie Gardens. A native of Salem, NH and grew up in Haverhill, Mass he came to the Barefoot Bay area from North Andover, Mass in 1979. Niles had been a mechanic and troubleshooter for General Motors Corp. prior to his retirement. He was an active member and supporter of the Roseland United Methodist Church. A "people person" Niles enjoyed being with others and was very out-going and always willing and available to help others. He sang in the church choir as well as with several performing groups in the Barefoot Bay area. He also volunteered to drive the truck for the church thrift store when needed. When he had the time he also would fit in a round or two of golf.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Marion; son Dean of New Hampshire; two daughters: Jarilyn Fortin of New Hampshire, Jenney Lou Franko of Minnesota; two sisters: Janice Clevesy of Mass and Priscilla Coco of Haverhill, Mass; four brothers: Earl of Massachusetts, Wally of Massachusetts, Russell of New Hampshire, Melvin of Massachusetts; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
