Nina Rutledge, 80, of Houston, Texas, passed away on May 17th 2017. She was born in Floresville, Texas on August 18, 1936 to Tommy and Alta Tackitt
She was married to Robert J Rutledge for 36 years until his passing in 1990.
She worked for the Rutledge Family Photography Company in Sunnyland and for Louis Shanks Furniture Stores up until her retirement.
Nina was a life time member of The Grand Chapter of Texas Order of The Eastern Star of Floresville, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Tommy Lydell and Alta Gilbert Tackitt, brother Joe Lydell Tackitt and husband Robert J Rutledge
She is survived by her son Jim Rutledge and his children Sean Rutledge, Colleen Brown and her husband Dylan Brown and great grandchildren Owen, Liam and Rory Brown; son John Rutledge and his daughter Britney Crank and her husband Chad Crank; daughter Jody Rene Hubbell and her daughter Jamie Hubbell.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas 77077 on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 2:00 pm with reception to follow.
