Norma L. (Bolinger) Gilbert, age 85, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 5:30 PM at Wayne HealthCare, Greenville, Ohio. She was born on October 10, 1932 in Arcanum, Ohio, to the late Ralph Bolinger and Ruby (Slade) Bolinger Blair.
Norma is survived by her son and daughter in law, Dr. Chris & Judy Gilbert of Greenville; grandchildren, Jenna (Clayton) Briggs, Jordan Gilbert and Janel Gilbert; great grandson, Carter Briggs; sister, Phyllis Bunger of New Madison; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Wellen Gene Gilbert whom she married on October 11, 1951 and sister, Janet Sutton.
Norma was a housewife and loved to bowl and travel with her sisters.
There will be a private graveside service held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
