Norma McLaughlin, 93, of Lakewood, NJ, passed away on Saturday September 30, 2017. Norma was predeceased in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Joseph. She was also preceded in death by her son, Joseph, Jr., and her parents Catherine and Joseph Campanella. She is survived by her sons, Lawrence and his wife, Gail, of Charlotte, NC, and Robert and his wife Karen, of Manchester, NJ; five grandchildren, Patrick McLaughlin of Hendersonville, TN, Colleen Gove of Charlotte, NC, Robert McLaughlin of Peachtree City, GA, Ryan McLaughlin of Howell, Howell, NJ, Daniel McLaughlin of Hawthorne, NJ; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Justine Maggiano and Elaine Colagreco and many nieces and nephews. Norma was a graduate of Cliffside Park High School and was employed many years by the Township of Woodbridge, NJ.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday October 4, from 4-7 pm at Anderson & Campbell Funeral, 3010 Ridgeway Road, Manchester, NJ 08759. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday October 5, 2017 at 10 am at Saint John's Roman Catholic Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst, NJ 08733. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in memory of Norma be made to the House of Mercy, 701 Mercy Drive, Belmont, NC 28012 or Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY 10065.
