One of my fondest memories was the days when we were young listening to records in the 1950's at her parents house, also sitting at the Back40 in Decatur for 3 hrs visiting a few years ago and all of our days trips the 4 of us took.

Uncle Dave, I wish we could have met under different circumstances this week, but I would like to ask for your help with something I have been trying to regain in my life and hopefully I can fill a void for you in return. I have been trying to get back into the christian faith, something I miss and feel a deep regret from not having in my life as I did while growing up. I would love to have you talk to me and set-up a time to meet each week at church. This may sound easy to you but I can be very lazy about this subject, this is why I am reaching out to ask you to do this. my number is in the phone book or if you need to you can ask Bob or Michelle. I look forward to your call and the time we may share in the future. Love Brian Hartman

Aunt norma, I know in your heart you wanted to stay but you figured that you'd have family the other way.
You could not fight no more and what could it hurt, you have parents and a brother that have been waiting for you.
And so a reunion awaited you there, and a family that also despretly needed you here. They will be fine, in time you will see.
But as for right now we have memories. Of the sweetest aunt, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
So please be at peace and trust in my words, i have been there and i know that it hurts. It never gets better and time does not heal, cause every day we are alive, we still FEEL. But life will go on as we will have to.
Uncle Dave, Dawn, Craig, Matt and Hal. Wait for the whispers and her breath on your neck. Feel her presence surround every move. She is there i promise you that! But remember, you have to then let her go. You will have to tell her its time to go home.
One more thing to my aunt, please do one thing for me tell my daddy that i miss him so much! And kiss him for me.
I Love and miss you!!!!

Dear Dave, Family and Friends,. My deepest sympathy for all of you. I started to run around with Norma in the 2nd grade of school, we shared First Communion, many school days, graduation, boy friends, weddings and babies, I have such fond and happy memories of being at her home and how loving her family was to me. I think I introduced her to Dave, but even as a young girl I knew it was love at first sight and it never wavered thru all the years. I celebrate Norma's life, and existance she did it well. she will be missed. Much love,

Dear Baker Family,
So very sorry to hear of the loss of Norma. She and I worked together at Maloley's back in the late 70's or early 80's. Norma had such a sweet and gentle spirit. She was so kind to my mom and me. Your loss is heaven's gain-she was truly an earthly angel.
May God bless you all.

A kind and gentle woman
a soft and tender touch.
An oh so sweet sounding voice
we love and will miss so much.
She is in our thoughts and dreams
your hearts should swell with pride.
Knowing that you were blessed
to have her by your side.
My time with her was short
my visits much more few.
But in that time spent with her
I feel as blessed as you.
So giving and so caring
the twinkle in her eyes.
Her extra notes in greeting cards
always a nice surprise.
Not a word passed through her lips
without a smile as it’s gate.
Having Norma in our lives
was our greatest twist of fate.
I held her hand a few weeks ago
it was warm and full of love.
She is now inside his kingdom
loving us from above.
Her pain is gone, her soul is free
the sun shines where she stands.
Our father has come to take her home
and holds her in his hands.
So lift your hearts up toward the sky
and feel his love and grace.
Remembering who stands with him now
will put a smile across your face.
